But our involvement doesn’t stop during your training sessions. We believe that what you do outside of our 2 hours together is equally important. That’s why if you choose our TrueCoach options or use our Nutritional services we’ll also hold you accountable for your workouts and nutrition, even on the days you’re not training with us. We recognize that your success relies on the choices you make during the other 166 hours of the week.

To ensure your progress, we maintain constant communication with our clients. We provide valuable feedback on your eating habits and assign homework—additional exercises to enhance your training beyond the sessions. Our unwavering dedication stems from our genuine care for your success.

How do Repke Fitness trainers differ from trainers at commercial gyms like Gold's Gym, LA Fitness, 24-Hour Fitness, or other fitness establishments like Curves?

If I become a Repke Fitness client, how long am I committed for?


We offer month to month subscription as well as personal training packages. Monthly will be auto-drawl and can cancel after any completed month (or let us know when you want it to end ahead of time).

Packages of personal training are refundable at anytime for unused sessions only before the 12 month expiration date..

We only want clients who are looking for results and want to be at our facility. So you’ll never feel stuck – you can cancel your subscription for ANY reason at the end of every month or cancel packages for a refund of unused sessions.

Do Repke Fitness trainers know how to train someone with a medical condition or physical injury?
Repke Fitness trainers specialize in helping clients with medical conditions or physical injuries. A majority of our clients have come to us with injuries/conditions that they have been battling for years. No matter what, we will always find a way to give you the best workout, despite any limitations you may have. You are in good hands.
How long will it take for me to see results?

Every “body” is different and responds to exercise differently. Typically, within six to eight weeks clients can see noticeable results in their bodies. Most of our clients, who follow our guidelines, see a weight loss of 1-2 pounds per week consistently. Those who have more to lose can see as much as 2-4 pounds per week. However, depending on your specific goals, your results will vary. The biggest difference and results will come from you changing your eating habits, which we will help you with. Your nutrition is 80% of what will get you the results that you desire.

With that being said, you can expect exceptional results! Most clients who follow our guidelines with eating, tracking their calories see results within weeks.

What fitness level do I need to be at in order to start training?

As long as you are alive and breathing, we can train you. No matter what fitness level you think you may be at. Our oldest client is 82-years-old and our youngest client is 13. We’ve helped clients whoa are underweight and we’ve helped clients who weigh well over 500 pounds. We have clients who are extremely uncoordinated and those who are highly skilled. Bottom line: We can train anyone. Don’t wait and try to get in shape before you come train with us, it’s like saying you want to get healthy first before seeing a doctor. Our job is to get you in shape!

Do you train clients with injuries or medical conditions?

Yes, without a doubt! Our trainers possess exceptional expertise in working with clients who experience daily discomfort or have specific medical conditions. We have a proven track record of success in training individuals with diverse health challenges, including but not limited to Diabetes, cardiac disorders, Spondylolisthesis, Multiple Myeloma, Plantar Fasciitis, Post-Stroke, Cerebral Palsy, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), and various other medical conditions.

At Repke Fitness, we take immense pride in our ability to cater to clients with limitations and help them achieve their fitness goals. In fact, we thrive on the opportunity to work with individuals whom other trainers may hesitate to train. We approach each client with the utmost care, understanding, and expertise.

What days and hours are you open?

Please contact us prior to stopping by, as we may be busy training other clients and/or the studio may not be in the studio.

Repke Fitness is open Monday through Thursday from 6am – 8pm (by appointment only).

Fridays 6am – 12pm.

Saturdays and Sundays we are closed. 

How can I get help with my nutrition?

We work with Sara who’s a nutrition health coach and personal trainer to help our clients. She charges a $50 initial consultation fee where she’ll help you get on a track and create a customize plan for you.

Will I work with the same trainer for every session?

Not all the time. We try to keep our clients mainly with one trainer but often you’ll be training between two trainers. Most of the time you will be working with the same (one) trainer. However, once in awhile we may have you training with a different trainer. 

Regardless, every trainer you work with will be familiar with your fitness level, as well as your short and long-term goals, so you are guaranteed to receive the very best workout every time. Our full-time trainers meet weekly to collaborate on clients’ goals. It’s why we only employ full-time personal trainers, we collaborate very well. Together, we’re always looking for ways to help you succeed.

What’s included in the initial consultation/session?

The initial training consultation is a one time fee of $70. During your initial consultation session – which lasts approximately 1 hour – your personal trainer will gather as much information on your medical and exercise history as possible in order to create the best program for you. Next, your trainer will help you establish realistic goals and discuss the strategies that will be used to accomplish them. During that same initial consultation, your trainer will conduct a short workout session with you, giving you an idea as to what future workouts will be like.

During your future workout sessions, your trainer will demonstrate proper form and technique and explain to you the fundamentals of the specific training that you are focusing on.  WE WILL MEET YOU WHERE YOU ARE AT! Meaning, if you haven’t exercise in 5 years, we’ll take it easy and slowly build you up.

If you’ve been somewhat active and like to be pushed then we will do that too. Your personal trainer will teach you about cardiovascular training, and depending on your program, your trainer will help you establish cardio goals for each week. You will learn about high and low-intensity cardio and how these styles of training fit into your specific program. Body fat testing, body girth measurements, flexibility, cardio, and strength testing may all be done once you sign up (second or third session).

How do I schedule an initial consultation/ session?

Repke Fitness charges $70 for all initial consultation/training session to all new clients to discuss your fitness needs and goals. Your initial consultation consists of 10-15 minutes discussing your goals followed by a 40-45 minute Personal Training Session (on the same day). Initial consultation lasts about 1 hour. Before you schedule, please be sure you’re truly ready – we only take on serious clients. If you’re a serious client then we would love to have you!

Do Repke Fitness trainers understand the issues of obesity?
Repke Fitness trainers have a thorough understanding of obesity and the emotional and physical issues associated with it. Our trainers are passionate about their work and want to help you make reasonable lifestyle changes. We won’t ask you to do anything that’s unrealistic or makes you feel uncomfortable.
Can Repke Fitness help me lose weight even if I have lower back problems, shoulders issues and/or bad knees?

YES, WE CAN! We specialize in helping clients that deal with these types of aches and pains on a daily basis. Our trainers are experts in creating safe workouts for clients who deal with these issues. So, fear not! You’re in good hands.

Can I cancel/get a refund for my paid sessions if I don't like the training and/or if I’m not seeing results?

ABSOLUTELY! Repke Fitness is the only fitness establishment that will allow you to cancel your fitness subscription/program without being charge a fee. Every plan that we offer can be cancelled at the end of the month.

Why do we allow this? Because we want clients who want to be here – not people who are miserable and not putting in the effort into their fitness program.

If you are quitting because you’re not putting in the effort, we’ll try to motivate you even more and help you progress. WE WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON YOU! But we want clients who are committed to changing their lives. All of our serious clients who follow our guidelines get results!

If you’re quitting because of your lack of effort, it’s no problem, we’ll give you one without a hassle. We’ll also welcome you back with open arms when you are ready to truly commit. WE WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON YOU! We firmly believe that, “you can’t help someone until they’re ready to change” which is why we “fire” clients too.

If you cancel last minute all the time, are not taking your sessions seriously or are not following our guidance and then whine and complain for not getting results – although you’re not putting in the work then we may “fire” you. Don’t worry, we’ll give you a full-refund for all unused sessions.

We welcome back all clients when they feel like they’re truly ready to change, you can always come see us again 🙂

Do you train older clients, what is your youngest client and what is the oldest?

Yes, we do! We have a wide age range of clientele. Our youngest client is 13 years old and oldest is 82 years old and we have everything in between. We have over 20 clients who are well into their sixties – you’re never too old or too young to train with us.

What do I do if I need to reschedule a session?

If you need to reschedule any of your training sessions, you’ll need to contact us at least 24 hours prior to your session. If it’s at least 24 hours before your session then you can email or call us.

If you are cancelling with less than 24-hour notice then you must call us at 410-656-2121. Same day cancellations or no call/no shows are subject to a session deduction. Meaning you’ll lose that session if you don’t show or cancel without 14-hour proper notice. Less than 24-hour noticed cannot be “rescheduled.”

Our trainers are busy and their time is important – as is yours. Therefore, we extend the same courtesy of 24-hour notice to you if we need to reschedule your appointment! We know better than anyone that unplanned events happen, so we are more than willing to work around your busy schedule and/or any emergencies that may arise. Call our main line at 410-656-2121. We do not charge reliable clients for last minute cancellations – if they rarely cancel last minute.

We make exceptions for rare and true emergencies like you having to go to the hospital.

What will my fitness program include?

All of our training programs include $70 initial consultation/session. After the initial session, your program will vary based on your personal fitness and health goals. Our trainers are highly qualified experts who will design your program so that it includes all 5 components of fitness: Flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and body composition. Each session will challenge you and will include a variety of exercises that fit your needs. Also, we would encourage you to get in touch with Sara, the Nutrition Health Coach to help you speed up your results.

If I’m on a budget, will I be able to afford Repke Fitness?

You will most certainly be able to afford to train with us if you’re on a budget. We’d recommend either our 1 personal training per week subscription and then buying one of our fitness program that that you can do on your own time. 

Do you open on the weekends?

Our trainers are hard working and we value them and a work life balance. So currently we do NOT do weekends. We currently only open Monday through Friday.

Is Repke Fitness Personal Training located in Severna Park?
No, not anymore. Repke Fitness Personal Training was originally founded in Severna Park by Louben Repke. We operated in Severna Park from 2009 – 2014. However, in September 2014, we relocated our personal training studio from Severna Park to Millersville, MD.
