Post-rehab personal training in Millersville, MD

Physical therapy gets you moving again. We help you keep going: rebuilding strength, confidence, and fitness after surgery, injury, or a long recovery.

$25 first session · No long-term contracts · HSA / FSA accepted

Why post-rehab training

The gap between PT and real life.

Physical therapy usually ends when you can function again, not when you feel strong again. Insurance visits run out, the home exercise sheet gets lost, and many people slide back into the same pain that sent them to PT in the first place.

We pick up where therapy leaves off. Some of our clients are still seeing their physical therapist and train with us on the other days. Others come to us after they finish. Either way, we can coordinate with your PT, surgeon, or doctor so your training supports your care.

Built by a clinical team. Our founder, Louben Repke, RN, started as a physical therapy tech and became a Registered Nurse. Darius and Jamie both bring physical therapy clinic experience. That background shapes how we choose and adjust every exercise.

How it works

Every exercise can be adjusted.

  • Start with your history. Bring your recent medical records or PT notes to your first session. We review them with you before we start.
  • Begin where you are. Early sessions may look a lot like therapy: lighter weights, careful movement, and lots of coaching.
  • Change what needs changing. We can change the exercise, the weight, the range of motion, the pace, or the support, and we adjust based on how you feel that day.
  • Progress on purpose. As you get stronger, we increase the challenge gradually. Here is why progressive overload matters.
  • Practice between sessions. Your trainer loads homework into the Repke Fitness App so you keep progressing at home.

What clients say

In their own words.

★★★★★“I wasn’t sure it was something I could do, especially after a hip replacement just 2 months earlier and having major back issues… I’m lifting 20+ pounds, doing commandos, mountain climbers, bench step-ups and moving with ease!”

Danielle K.Google review

★★★★★“I walked in for my first session with a knee brace on each leg. I still have a long way to go, but I have still been able to put those knee braces in the closet!”

Judy B.Google review

★★★★★“Spent years in physical therapy for various injuries and needed a trainer that would make sure I was working out safely. They ask at the next session how you felt last time so they can progress you safely.”

Questions

Common questions.

Can I train with you while I am still in physical therapy?

Yes. Many clients train with us on the days they are not at PT. With your permission, we are happy to coordinate with your physical therapist so the two plans work together.

How soon after surgery can I start?

That depends on your surgeon and physical therapist. Once you have been cleared for exercise, we can start, and we build from whatever you are cleared to do.

Is this the same as physical therapy?

No. We do not diagnose or treat injuries. We are certified trainers with clinical backgrounds who help you get stronger safely after therapy, or alongside it.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Often, yes. We accept HSA and FSA cards, and our medical partner can help eligible clients get a letter of medical necessity. Here is how it works.

What should I bring to my first session?

Comfortable clothes, sneakers, and any recent medical records or PT notes. Tell us about your injury or surgery when you book so we can plan ahead.
