Progress doesn’t stop when therapy does.
Physical and occupational therapy after a stroke do important work, but formal therapy often ends while there is still more progress to make. Strength on the affected side, walking and balance, endurance, and the confidence to get out of the house can keep improving with consistent, well-designed exercise.
We pick up where therapy leaves off. With your care team’s clearance, we build a program around your abilities today and progress it as you improve, in a private studio where you can take your time.
Training for everyday independence.
Balance and walking
Supervised balance work, stepping drills, and walking practice so you feel steadier at home and in the community.
Strength on both sides

Getting up and down
Practicing chair, car, and floor transfers safely, skills that make daily life easier and safer.
Endurance
Gradual cardio work to rebuild stamina, with intensity guided by how you feel and your doctor’s recommendations.

How a letter of medical necessity works.
Common questions.
When can I start personal training after a stroke?
Usually once you have finished or been cleared by your therapy and medical team. Some clients train with us while still in outpatient therapy. Ask your care team, and we are happy to coordinate with them.
Can you help with balance and walking?
Yes. Balance, walking, and safe transfers are a big part of how we train post-stroke clients, always with a trainer right beside you.
Do I need to be able to get on the floor?
No. We start with what you can do today. Practicing safe floor transfers can come later if it is a goal.
Can a family member come along?
Yes. Family members are welcome to watch the first session, and any session when it helps.
