I’m tired.

As a working mom of a preschooler, I have often let this excuse take over. I don’t have time to sit around and binge watch awesome shows on Netflix, but I do try to squeeze in moments of fitness throughout my day. When I take my daughter to the playground, I have a choice of sitting on a bench and scrolling on my phone, or joining in on the fun, attempting pull ups on the monkey bars, or pumping my legs in a swinging challenge with the kids. Finally, when I make an effort to wake up an hour before my child is awake, I can do a yoga routine or spend some time listening to a podcast while running on the treadmill. There is time.

If you do have time for television, don’t collapse on the sofa. Work on your glutes with a few sets of squats while you catch up on your favorite show. You can even do some low-impact moves while reading, studying, and working.
